"TURBO" Scientific Journal
General description
 

Scientific Journal TURBO is an Open Access (OA) journal according to Budapest Open Access Initiative (2002), Bethesda statement on Open Access Publishing (2003) and Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in Science and Humanities (2003) and it is included in Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources (ROAD - http://road.issn.org/issn/2559-608X). It is published biannual by Romanian Research and Development Institute for Gas Turbines - COMOTI.

The journal aims to publish papers on the following topics:

Paper submission/publication


The Scientific Journal TURBO is published at the end of June and at the end of December. The deadlines for submission of papers for Scientific Journal TURBO are: May 10th and November 10th.

Paper requirements:
    - Papers should be written in English;
    - The page number should be even due to editorial reasons, and it should be between 4-8 pages;
    - Papers should be written and submitted in .doc or .docx format, following the Journal Template (TURBO Authors Guidelines);
    - Papers should be send in the final form to:
        o technical secretary: jeni.popescu@comoti.ro, jeni.vilag@comoti.ro
        o editor: elena.banea@comoti.ro


All submitted papers are peer-reviewed and the paper reviewing period is between 3-6 weeks. Regarding the reviewing process, all papers are sent to two specialists which will evaluate the paper regarding:
    - Clarity of presentation;
    - Originality;
    - Scientific content;
    - Engineering relevance;
    - Interest for the readers.


At reviewer's recommendations, the paper will be:
    - Accepted for publication - the paper will be published without any other changes / corrections;
    - Accepted with minor/major reviews - the paper will be published after the authors revise the paper according to reviewers' suggestions and comments;
    - Rejected - the paper will not be published in case both reviewers write negative reports.
In all above cases the corresponding author will receive both reviewer's comments.


The authors have to declare that the papers they submit had not been previously published in any other publications or are under review in other publication when they are submitted in Scientific Journal TURBO and that the article and/or parts of it follow Copyright laws abided by Copyright Transfer Agreement and Statement of Plagiarism (TURBO Copyright Form). The form must be filled in, signed, scanned and sent after confirmation of paper acceptance. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data presented in the paper.
